Our Work for Life instructor team is made up of leaders who are ready to see people in their community create jobs and see change in people’s lives. Our Entrepreneur Development Program hinges on the instructor being able to take business ideas and present them in a way that our students can go out and apply them immediately. Through this we have seen a beautiful movement of entrepreneurs starting businesses for the first time.
Our Work for Life program doesn’t end with graduation. Our Instructors get a chance to mentor the people they have trained and sit with them through the ups and downs of starting a business. In doing this they also get access to a library of resources developed by our stateside team including interviews, seminars, one sheets and blogs. We believe that business development is not only for the student but for the instructor as well.
We are passionate about seeing poverty alleviated across the world. We hope to see a generation of people being lifted out of cyclical poverty through the power of business development. This passion is driven by our team of instructors and is the reason for our operation. With this passion to see poverty alleviated, businesses started and lives changed, we have a chance to change the lives of people everywhere.
We are always looking for more people willing to take up the call to train the next generation. If this is something you or your organization is passionate about please email our team via the link below:

Work for Life is a non-profit organization founded by a group of business leaders in Austin, Texas with an interest in using business to help improve the lives of people living in poverty. Our entrepreneurship programs have been operating in East Africa since 2009. As we continue to see lives impacted, we are constantly on the look out for new opportunities. We are currently looking to expand into South America and South East Asia.
We have a unique opportunity to get behind our friends living in poverty and help them take action and become the solution to the problems that exist in their communities. We celebrate THEM as the change-makers. The entrepreneurs that step up and start businesses are the real heroes. Work for Life is merely a catalyst.
